I had a dream about this girl! Her name is Kirin and she was raised by Alorias and Dornnons [dragons], so she's technically like a fantasy female Tarzan, only raised by... dragons. XD Later on in the story (I do plan on using her) she gives herself the title Queen of Dragons, which is a little haughty I guess. ...oh well.
[Pros] I LEARNED TO DRAW WATER, ICE, AND TREES, AND FIRE!!!!! AND HAIR!! Everything in this picture was a firsttime! XD; Whoooo~!
[Cons] Her eyes aren't near where I want them to be. I had a hard time drawing the runes on her skin. The trees don't look like trees. The ice doesn't look like ice. The water isn't very consistent. I'm hungry. Her mouth is missing/lol @ anatomy. No background. Everything is so crowded.
Took me roughly about 4-5 hours I think. It was fun to do because it was something I actually enjoyed to draw while I was sick~
I am not sure how you start these things anymore, but just in case you don't know this (I'm sure you already do, you smarty mcsmartness!) but draw the entire character first, then add the things that cover her. One layer at a time!
But, great job!

Wow, she sounds like an interesting character. : D Pretty picture; I love the colors on it in particular. :3 Nice job, especially for your first time trying so many things. ^^

Thanks so much.

And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
